Well done Blacks with a great win ... you played, you won , now watch the video ! Hard luck to the Gold too .. excellent play deserved a 2nd trophy for the cabinet but it was not to be.

Prosport Summer League U10’s

An early goal from Josh Gay started this Gold romp in the warm morning sunshine. A run from half way and a clinical finish gave Ben Peirson-Hagger his first goal and fine inter linking play by Kit Greengrass set up the excellent Miller to score.

A fourth goal came via a deft left foot lob by Peirson-Hagger and at this point Gold were cruising. However, Saints, to their credit, started to come into the game and the defensive qualities of Danny Dockree and Archie McGowan came to the fore as did the goal keeping skills of Charlie Brown. In the event their tenacity paid off and Saints cut the deficit just before half time.

Straight after the re-start a superb tackle by Greengrass presented Miller his second goal and scorer then turned provider for Peirson-Hagger’s hat trick.

For the umpteenth time Gay danced down the left and crossed this time for Peirson-Hagger to drive in Gold’s seventh and an accurate left foot shot from the persistent Greengrass made it eight. A break from defence by Matty Chapman provided Miller with his third and the scoring was completed by the deserving Gay. Peirson-Hagger won the fair play award.
