Rotherfield Raiders Gold 2 - 0 Woodley Saints Jaguars

A great performance by the Raiders in a tight match. Even after sustained pressure the match remained in deadlock until Ben Peirson-Hagger thumped in a stunning shot to give the raiders the lead. A few minutes later McGowan produced the "tackle of the season" with a perfectly timed interception to deprive Woodley's number 2 of a shooting opportunity that would almost certainly have been put away to level the score. Spurred on by such great defensive work after Raiders enjoyed a period of sustained pressure and numerous shots on goal by every other player until Chapman neatly tucked in the Raider's 2nd sealing a solid win and a great team performance.
